Character Description:
His childhood wasn’t too great. His parents became divorced about a decade after his brother Justin had been born. At the age of 23, his parents had been taken away by the Academy of Evil and were never seen again. He took care after his brother and also took him to school.
As they grew older, the Professor had gotten into the University where he met his good friend Mario again since they last saw each other as teens. There he received his doctorate in Biological Research. Soon after, he taught at the same school and had a student named Neo Cortex. The colleagues he worked with were Nitrus Brio and Tara Cross; both were his very excellent partners at the time of his teachings.
He got bored of teaching indoors and starts an outside class which enables him and his students to do research in the field. He encounters a very optimistic adventurer named Nathan Drake. They went on various excursions to many exotic and ancient places. While at a campsite in Tasmania, he meets the last Thylacine of her kind, Tani Tiger. He stops his adventures with Nate and decides to stay home with his new pet.
He was watching the television when he heard that many parts of the world were experiencing food shortages. Determined, he then took many graduated students and partners (who obviously agreed to go) to a research castle. There, he wanted to find a way to stop world hunger so he developed the Evolvo-Ray. This skipped the harvesting and the food was able to grow faster. While at the castle, Cortex tells the Professor that he witnessed a horrible car accident in which it had killed Justin. He became very sad, and decided to dedicate all of his research to Justin. He continued developing the Evolvo-Ray. Unfortunately, the machine was never used to end world hunger. Instead Cortex uses the machine to evolve animals for his world domination plans, he seizes control of the castle and the Professor is forced to leave. He finds his brother lurking around on the island and then was taken to X.Treme Island thanks to Tara's will to escape.
The Professor, which was now depressed, lived with his long lost brother alone on the island. One day however his old assistant, Brio, brought some new visitors as a punishment from Cortex. His sadness now turned to happy and optimistic. He took care of Tani as his child, and as they grew older, there were more surprises for him, such as Tasha Bandiger.
He now lives happily on the islands with his new family. He expects everything will be fine for many years to come. But will it?
How I found him-
I read the OB series and I was like, "Damn! This is great!" but it was mostly about Crunch of course, since he is the outcast bandicoot. I decided to start writing about Tani, since there wasn't too much about her before Parts 1-3 (and of course her own story) So I thought, "What better to talk about how she was evolved? And how she came about?" So that's why I wrote my first story, How Cortex Became Evil.
I originally thought that this would be the first and only story, but when I received comments about it on dA and in the forums. It motivated me to continue on with the series.
