  • Good traits:  He is talented in the arts of the Shadow - he’s a Shadow dragon and he can swim through walls, the floor, anything solid he can walk or swim through. He can breathe black fire which is three times hotter than standard fire. He can fly very well for his size and weight. He can climb walls with his shadow powers.

  • Bad traits:  Extremely violent and reckless, not caring about what happens to him as long as whatever he’s fighting against dies first. Even though he can swim through walls and floors he has to come up for air.

 

Description:

Originally a pure blooded dragon, Maleficus wandered the future version of South America as the protector of the land. However his position in the economy was targeted by a lone werewolf - fuelled by jealousy and anger as the dragon had obliterated his tribe for plotting a nationwide pillaging.

One night when Maleficus was sleeping under a tree the werewolf stuck, clamping his jaws around the neck of the dragon. His teeth didn’t puncture the scales there so he resorted to biting his shoulder, puncturing his flesh immediately.

Maleficus slaughtered the werewolf on the spot, enraged at how easily he had picked him off - for the werewolf showing cowardice and attacking him as he slept.

Life continued as normally for him until the next full moon.

Werewolf bites have two functions - kill or turn their prey. Maleficus’ immune system fought off the killing bacteria but didn’t notice the bacteria for turning.

A mane grew from his head down his back and front. He gained the attire of a bipedal creature and even wings spurted from his back. The werewolf that had bit him was incredibly fit and his body morphed into the same physical look of the werewolf - he too became fit.

He went around to do his usual routine of protecting the innocent but because of his appearance he was shunned away from his home and forced to live elsewhere. 

Confused, he went to see the Dragon Elder and high court. They didn’t recognise him however, thinking he was a spy, and he was exhiled.

Thoroughly enraged by now, Maleficus massacred all he saw until he came across two anthros talking about changing their pasts so life was better for them today. This gave Maleficus an idea…
